ABOUT DAVID FREEMAN:
David Freeman is a professional screenwriter, instructor, and script consultant. He has written feature film scripts for Jack Nicholson, Christopher Reeve and Morgan Freeman. In fact Morgan Freeman’s first Oscar nomination resulted from a script, character, and role written by David. His passion and commitment to the art of screen writing has made an impact on the quality of storytelling in films on three continents.
ABOUT THE BEYOND STRUCTURE MASTER CLASS:
David’s seminal Master Class is a combination of :
-Essential film clips
-David’s expert analysis of those clips
-David’s tried and true writing and development techniques
-Short, but valuable in-class writing exercises, and
-A 138-page handout pack that is bursting with material. You’ll be referring to that handout pack for years to come.
BEYOND STRUCTURE has been taught for over 12 years, and was in development for a few years before that.
Los Angeles is a city with over 100 screen writing classes, and “Beyond Structure” has become the most popular.
The class is packed with writing and development techniques.
The class is exciting. From the first moment until the last, you’ll be learning things you never knew. Producers and directors benefit just as much.
Usually the class draws a mixture of professionals and beginners.
Because there will be so many people interested in animation in the audience, David will add some animation clips to discuss.
A technique to give a character emotional depth works in both animation and live action.
We sincerely hope that you will not miss this unbelievable opportunity!
