A bit About Asifa India:
ASIFA India is a non-profit organization operational in India since 9 years.
We have been actively working towards :
-the cause of knowledge sharing
-and promoting animation within India,
-building a strong sense of community.
To further this cause, we organize and celebrate numerous workshops and
seminars through out the year.
International Animation Day (IAD):
International Animation Day is Celebrated annually on the 28th of
October, IAD is a project started in 2000 by
Asifa International, to celebrate the art of animation worldwide. In our
effort to build this community and link it
to our international partners, we are looking at showcasing high quality
animated and VFX work done within India.

Women In Animation is a professional, non-profit organization
established in 1994 in US to foster the dignity, concerns
and advancement of women who are involved in any and all aspects of the
art and industry of animation.
WIA is also an educational organization. Through our workshops, meetings
and panels you are bound to gain valuable
insight into the industry.

We are looking for an Asifa India Coordinator:
Position Summary:Being the FACE OF ASIFA INDIA TO BUILD AND NURTURE A COMMUNITY.The Asifa coordinator is responsible for facilitating and organizing
various activities like CG Meetups and IAD.
To establish a smooth flow of communication between the speakers,
sponsors and other service providers to execute the event with utmost
professionalism.
Should be passionate about animation and meeting students, professionals
and supporters from the industry.Responsibilities: 1) Plan and organize Monthly CG Meetups in Mumbai and other cities
across India.
2) Planning and execution of Annual Event: IAD
3) Communicate with Speakers, Sponsors and Vendors, to co-ordinate
coordinate for various events and activities National and at
International level.
4) Help in design and conceptualization of events: mailers, posters,
mascot designs.
5) Maintain Database of all the contacts.
6) Maintain expenses and help in Auditing for Asifa accounts along with
our charted accountant.
7) Create detailed schedules with short term, mid term and long term
deadlines and communicate them.
8.) Maintain Asifa related and event specific web pages on our website
with details of current work status.
Personal Attributes:
1) Highly organized person.
2) Excellent communication skills in English (both oral and written).
3) Must have a positive “can do” attitude.
4) Strong office computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Photoshop)
5)Must possess good interpersonal skills
6)Suggesting creative ideas
Who can Apply?:
- Passionate people with some industry experience can apply
- Should have an understanding about Animation Industry experience would
be an advantage.
- Candidates living in the western suburbs are more preferred as our

Asst. Manager Asifa India
Position Summary:
The Asst. Manager is responsible for managing various activities like CG
Meetups and IAD.
To establish a smooth flow of communication between the speakers,
sponsors and other service providers to execute the event with utmost

professionals from the industry.
Responsibilities:
1) Planning ,Organizing & Managing annual event *IAD.*
2) Planning ,Organizing & Managing monthly event* CG meet ups.*
3) R&D related to Asifa / WIA
4) Assisting with Asifa related activities and other Community Building
activities.
5) Maintaining relations with the press (also writing press articles).
6) Budgeting
7) Organize various outreach programs to help grow the community
8.) Public Relations with other industries
9) Coordinating with the International Film Festivals
10) Maintaining cordial relations with institutes & schools in the
Animation & VFX industry
Personal Attributes:
1) Ability to multi task effectively
2) Adequate experience in leading and managing teams
3) Excellent presentation skills
4) Ability to plan, organize and schedule work to meet deadlines.
5) Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
6) Ability to work independently and with other members of a team.
7) Passionate about the VFX industry
