September CGMeetup: Drawing Fundamentals

This month, the CGMeetup will be an interactive one where we will get together to go over the topic of Drawing Fundamentals… i.e. back to the basics of art.. no fancy computers.. no fancy software.. just pencil and paper! 
The thought is to go through a brief lecture from a renowned drawing instructor and then we break up into smaller groups and everyone can spend time drawing and practicing the principles discussed via various interactive exercises. Each small group will also have a “lead” who is a professional artist to help guide the individuals in the group.. anyways.. the idea is to keep this very informal.. and hopefully a lot of fun!
As usual, there will also be an open mic forum at the end and a screening of some animated short films. We will also have a discussion about International Animation Day on October 28th. We want to collect ideas for the event.. get volunteers, etc.. so bring your great event ideas with you!
