ASIFA India along with ABAI is proud to present the First CG Meetup in Bangalore.
The session would cover Achieving feature quality character animation, Film appreciation, Inspirational talk on how to cut into the industry and there would also be an “Ask the Pro” session.
The event would be held on Saturday, 5th March from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Yuvanika Karnataka State Youth Centre, Nrupatunga Road, Bangalore.
On special request the entry fee has been reduced to Rs. 100/-

JOHN HILL
Head of Character Animation – DreamWorks Animation
John has a long list of phenomenal animated features to his credit as a Supervising and Directing Animator. From television to film, 2D to 3D, his forte encompasses a wide spectrum in the animation
Industry. Rumpelstiltskin and Bartok are some of the memorable characters on which he has put his stamp.
SIJU THOMAS
Senior Art Director – Technicolor
Siju Thomas is a Creative Director with over fifteen years of experience in the animation industry. He’s a hands-on CG animator, Sculptor, Rigger and to top it all, he is a great story-teller as well!
JAI NATARAJAN
CEO, Xentrix Studios
Jai Natarajan is CEO of Xentrix Studios, an animation startup based in Bangalore. He’s poked his nose into every department in his career, including R&D, Lighting, FX, Production and BizDev, and is an alumnus of ILM, Sony, Prana and Maya Entertainment. He is also a committee member of TASI and is allegedly wanted in several states for subverting Indian youth towards a career in animation.
